The Modules each have 3 quizzes: Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology and Diagnosis and Materia Medica. The quizzes have multiple choice answers and the pass mark for each is 65%. Each Module has 6 :Lessons, covering herbal philosophy, human biology, medicine, herbal medicine and home pharmacy. Also. as an aid to study, each Module has a worksheet to highlight the most important points gained from the Lessons.

Having read the course work for a given Component, the student completes a Review consisting of questionnaires, multiple-choice questions, short essays, etc. This is then posted directly to the Course Tutor for marking and comment.

After the second year, studies may be further extended upon payment of an annual re-registration fee (currently £25) to cover administration costs.
